Our client a leader in the travel sector is looking for a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to lead projects, mentor others and be a good role model. You will be a fire-fighting machine as you lead from the ground up providing technical support on all fronts. Be prepared to take on anything and everything from your users. The list can be daunting to the faint of heart; laptop computers, mobile devices, printers, IP telephones, audio/video equipment, video conferencing systems, the administration of our self-service portals, Exchange email and calendaring, access control for Windows and Windows file servers, and our Asterisk-based IP telephony system. Hard requirements:
5+ years of experience working in a Windows PC Support environment
5+ years of support of Mac OS and Apple products
3+ years of tech lead role in a desktop support team
Scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash
Positive " can do" attitude and a " go-getter" with an upbeat manner of handling technical issues
Additional skills in MS SCCM, Linux, JAMF Casper, Networking, Python preferred
Technical degrees and certificates preferred
