Job Description
Director of Software Engineering job for someone who loves the outdoors! Work remote with quarterly visits to corporate office. This role leads a team of 5 principal engineers and 2 engineering managers.
Key details
Lead 7 direct reports and influence over 25 engineers
10 years of overall experience software development experience
5+ years of managing experience including managing managers
Experience leading backend API development and native mobile app development teams
Experience with Go, Rust, Python, GCP, Kubernetes, Swift, and Kotlin is preferred but not required
Experience in geospatial and mapping is preferred but not required
FTE job with salary base of $180-220, 000 plus annual bonus and annual equity grant
Work remote and travel 4 times a year for corporate meetings
